Friendship Gardens 

     Friendship Gardens is a senior housing project with 24 one bedroom units and one two bedroom manager’s unit.  It is located on the North side of East 5th Avenue between Stone and Lee Streets, directly across 5th from the East Central Community Center.  The property includes a community room and manager’s office.

Rose apartments 

The Rose Apartments is a historic building with eight one-bedroom units.  It is located on the corner of 4th Avenue and Pittsburgh, one block east of Liberty Park, home of the new East side Library branch.  The property has a basement laundry room and a number of energy efficiency features including, a high efficiency common hot water boiler, heat recovery ventilation, split system heat pumps and energy efficient and sound attenuating windows.
